Progress at Morchard Bishop

The garden here is starting to take shape after a slight delay as we decided to get the vegetable bed built first in time for this year’s crop to be planted.

All the excavation has finally been completed after finding the ground is made of rock (not soil) and had a large metal reinforced strip of concrete running through it that had to be removed.

All the rubble and hardcore has been put to one side and the sleeper wall has started to be constructed, so it should start coming together pretty quickly now.

Fingers crossed it will stay dry!
